Founded in 1989 in Bandung, Indonesia, PT. Sinar Para Taruna (Sipatatex), specializing in superior quality warp knitted lace and tricot fabrics for intimates, outerwear, house wear and sport wear.
Sipatatex’s history is marked by continuous expansion and investments in cutting edge technologies and machinery. The company buys only the best machines for warp knitted textiles.
It employs 1055 people and generates a turnover of 25 million US dollars. The vertically integrated business has yarn processing, warping, knitting, dyeing and finishing, full laboratory for fabric testing and a semi- automated packaging facilities.
All the facilities are situated in a 4.6 hectare property.
The company is Oeko-tex and Mattel certified.
Produces Textronic, Jacquardtronic and Raschel laces in trims, bands, eyelashes and allovers: for intimates and ready-to-wear. A tricot department produces single tricot, double tricot, block tricot, half tricot, two-way tricot, different types of tulle, Powernet, satinette, spacer fabrics, and meshes for sportswear. The company also offers Jacquard and tricot fabrics for home furnishings.
The company vision is to provide a one-stop shopping ideology for intimates wear. Developing hundreds of new designs to meet market trend every year, it employed 16 designers. It has a well train professional work force that is innovative and specialize in their own profession.
The company is becoming one of the major players in the warp knitting industry, both locally and internationally. Customers include H&M, GU, Vanity Fair, C&A, Wacoal, Etam, Ralph Lauren, Target, Mattel, Forever 21, Primark, Walmart, Lidl, Canadelle (Hanesbrands), AAI, Hunkenmoller, Agent Provocateur to name just a few of their royal customers.
